The Armistice Memorial at Compiègne
To the north of the Compiègne forest, the Armistice Memorial is dedicated to the two world wars. A rich and fascinating visit in green surroundings.
A tour takes you on a journey through history. Discover the famous Armistice wagon where the armistice of 11 November 1918 and the armistice of 22 June 1940 were signed. To be precise, it is actually an identical wagon, the original having been destroyed on Hitler's orders in 1945.

Museum opening times:
- 1 April to 30 September: daily from 10am to 6pm
- 1 October to 31 March: daily from 10am to 5.30pm, closed on Tuesdays
- Tickets cost €8 per adult and €6 per child (aged 7 to 18).
