Our top 5 must-see places in Beauvais

Saint-Pierre Cathedral
A little jewel of Gothic art, the Cathedral of Saint-Pierre in Beauvais has the particularity of having the highest vaulted Gothic choir in the world: 48.50 metres! The cathedral also stands out for the absence of a nave due to its unfinished construction.

St. Peter's Cathedral and its impressive architecture can be admired from the outside or from inside the building. You can discover beautiful stained glass windows and, above all, its astrological clock from the 19ᵉ century.

St Stephen's Church
Built over the centuries from the 12th century onwards, St Stephen's Church houses some remarkable Gothic stained glass windows.
This building, more modest than St Peter's Cathedral, is nonetheless interesting to visit and admire.

Located in the Palais Épiscopal de Beauvais, the MUDO is a museum that impresses as much by its premises as by its collections.

In particular, the museum offers a collection dedicated to the 19ᵉ century through a selection of works. The main piece is a painting by the painter Thomas Couture, "L'Enrôlement des volontaires de 1792".

Marcel Dassault Park
Discover Beauvais' favourite park! Located to the north of the city, the Marcel Dassault Park welcomes you to its various green spaces for a walk through its gardens.
Rose garden, English garden, dry garden, heath garden, a pear orchard and an animal farm.... The site offers a pleasant walk for two.

27 June Street
This is one of the streets that survived the bombings of the Second World War: the perfect place to discover the pre-war Beauvais. Stroll along the cobbled street, admire the half-timbered houses and enjoy the village atmosphere.

Don't hesitate to stop at one of the bars on the street to have a drink on the terrace and enjoy the beauty of the place.
